Hello, I've made a fillable form for work using Acrobat XI- everything works fine including the calculations. However, if the user fills the form using Google Chrome - it does everything the user needs it to do . What it doesn't do is- save and electronically sign the PDF.

Does anybody have a fix or a workaround to this?

I've suggested they download the PDF form and open using Adobe Acrobat- however, some users prefer to use it on their browser.

Are we sure it is not OS related Dave?  I have a strong feeling that the same behaviour happens in other apps.

InDesign will  be able to maintain full resolution if the file is imported as a PSD or TIFF as long as it is brought in at 100% of it's size. It should never be enlarged since it will lose resolution. If it needs to be reduced it should be resampled in Photoshop before importing into InDesign. Since you are doing a poster you should check with your printer as to their resolution requirements. Large posters do not usually need resolution set as high as smaller print jobs.

I can’t reproduce the issue, you are encountering.

Could you please tell us the single steps (select the text, set size to xxx, select the image, …), which are necessary to eventually reproduce the issue?

We are also affected (thousands of users). At least downgrading and turning off auto-updates should be simpler. We can't tell our users to go hack the registry.

I think the best way you try to fix this issue in Photoshop before importing to InDesign.

Figure out which color profile your printer uses, then work with CMYK colors and color fields to get the idea how it will look exactly on the paper. Test prints of your work are also always helpfull.

Hope it helps,

As much as I think having this logic in the view is a bad idea, the only way would be to test for the name of the node on the <li> element in the code I posted.

Best thing to do in my opinion would be to add code to your OSGI bundle to handle this, since it'll be re-usable across multiple components I assume.

Hi Yybenedb,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are unable to print using Adobe Reader, is that correct?

Please try troubleshooting steps given below:

1- Reboot the machine, and try printing again.

2- Have you tried the troubleshooting steps given in this link: Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader?

3- If yes, try disabling protected mode- launch Reader > click Edit > Preferences >

    Under Categories > Security (Enhanced) > untick Enable Protected Mode at startup > click OK and try again.

Please note: Disabling Protected mode is for troubleshooting purpose only, enable protected mode once the troubleshooting is complete.

Could you let us know the version of Adobe Reader installed on the machine: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC , And, the operating system installed on the machine?

Have you tried printing from other applications? Does that work?

Thank You,

Shivam

Bill makes a fair point, if the poster is to be viewed at a distance the resolution can be reduced by quite a lot.

Review - Customizing the Consoles

Just create a new client library with the category “dam.gui.admin.coral” and add

.coral-Card--inverted .coral-Card-wrapper,

.coral-Card--condensed .coral-Card-wrapper {

height: 5.375rem;

}

Thanks.

I love the fact that someone ticked that as helpful and marked it as the right answer when they weren't me, the person posting the question, and it was hardly as "correct answer".  In the end  I followed that link, did various more jumps to get to a "still need help", got a chat going.  First person was truly useless but after 25 minutes he passed me to someone else who slowly (but as fast probably as he could) ground through the solution using a remote control link.  Whole process, including getting into that, took 70 minutes.  Aarghh.

For the record, it's not clear what originally stopped cc working, the "can't uninstall, can't install" was almost certainly down to an install or uninstall process having locked in the background and blocking the next.  Rebooting would almost certainly have nailed that.  I should have thought of that.

Still hugely unimpressed by Adobe's support web site.

Sure, that's possible. You will need to re-create your existing forms in

Acrobat, though. It can't edit LCD forms.
