AEM upgrade from 6.3 to 6.5

Hi,

I am looking for an upgrade from AEM 6.3 to AEM 6.5.

Adobe has recommended the removal of /etc and moving the custom code to either /apps or /conf.

So i am looking for migration of the the following.

/etc/cloudservices/<custom-service>
/etc/acs-commons/lists

Can anyone please suggest me exact path where these can be migrated ?

Hi all,

I have an task, where I need to provide certain metadata values for assets in a given folder. To this, I've found this Configurable metadata - workflow step in AEM, but I'm having problems using it. Does any of you have some experience?

In the Metadata values, I've tried to add this (a custom metadata attribute in our system): jcr:content/metadata/ds:validFrom:{Date}2019-11-21T14:33:48.000+01:00

But when I sync the workflow, and re-opens the workflow step, my command seems to have vanished (see below)

Does anyone know how to configure the workflow step?

There are many entity attributes. So, for this particular criterion, which specific entity attribute has to be passed. Also, on which page this attribute has to be passed.

We have the lastest ACS-commons package installed, but we are still seeing this issue.

Do you have any other ideas on what I could try to do?

You can go as per Shruthi' suggestion

Or if you want to set cookie and that too before firing target then you have to on the webpage with the help of web developers and should set set cookie when user logs in and once that is set then you can create a profile script and read the cookie value and then same profile script you can use in your custom audience.

Thanks for the update. But i intention here to save some time while i can configure other things due sometimes i will get around 15 to 16 servers for the installation so can you suggest what can be done in alternative to make automation in installing the AEM.
