OK so I found a solution that worked for me.
First I Deleted the app from my 4 IOS devices. 2 of them allowed me to delete it and 2 would not show the X in the corner and were stuck there. Those 2 were deleted by selecting the app for removal in iTunes and then syncing.
Then I located the 2.3.1 IPA file (last version ) from my time machine backup.
I deleted the 2.3.2 version from iTunes. I dragedd and dropped the 2.3.1 version back into iTunes (had to hover with it for a few seconds before dropping it right into the view of all apps. checking that the file copied to the apps folder in iTunes.
Then I synced the older version back to all of my devices.
Auto update is turned off, on all of my devices making sure it does not try to download the update again.
Works as it did before the corrupted update. Hope this helps
