More to add after some additional testing! I opened up the sample file in Director 11.5 Windows and tested. It worked to save the BMP - but with a few caveats.
1) Strange filename replacement:
When typing the filename, I used "test". The filename saves as ".est.bmp". The T has been replaced by a dot. This was consistent with anything that I used for the filename. Letters, numbers, et cetera.
2) Cannot use a path and only saves in the root:
My challenge is that I would like to save the screen shots in a subfolder of the application root. Any time that I attempt to put a directory "Postcards\" before a file name or path it returns the error -10 File open failure.
3) So the Xtra on the Mac works great with folder paths. The Windows not-so-much. I think I may have to do a multi-step script using BuddyAPI to find the file, rename it the proper filename without the dot and then move it into the Postcards directory.
Not solved and probably a bug in the Xtra. The Xtra source is found on that ScrnXtra link above if anyone has the cajones to modify the Windows source binaries to solve the bug.
