Can anyone help me? I am a professional photographer specialising in equestrian event photography. I shoot on location. Sometimes this can be as many as 8k raw images per day. I shoot both to Lexar proff 1066x 16gb card and to a Lexar 256 GB 3600x card. At the end of the day I download to to 2 2 or 4 tb "mobile" hard discs, I normally use Adobe bridge (sometimes photomechanic). Sometimes, I do editing on site and synchronise my mobile discs using beyond compare after editing. When back at home I download to multiple back up systems, (both local and remote) I do not use cloud. All subsequent editing is done to on master disc and regularly synchronised across my back up files.
Even though most of my images are usually good enough out of the box, because I hate the LR catalogue, I normally edit in Photoshop 2019 cc after review in Bridge.
I know that my workflow is unnecessarily complicated and I am sure if I could find a way to understand the bloody awful lightroom catalog I could make it easier. Any suggestions for a simpler workflow plse, right from single or multiple card download to the temporary double download to images for review?
